DataRadar

The DataRadar Framework was created as part of Google's Summer of Code 2008 program. It is meant to be an Open-Source framework for analyzing text data and extracting things like dates, times, phone numbers, addresses, and so on. The content that is displaying the text is then able to provide a quick and easy way for the user to add or modify a contact, schedule an event in their calendar, etc. with the new information.

The framework is still under development but the code is available (along with bug reporting and feature requests) here.
